2020 Volkswagen Atlas Washington DC

One of the youngest vehicles on the Volkswagen lineup, the Atlas has quickly also become one of the most popular. As utility vehicles like this crossover increase in popularity across the market, so to does the popularity of the induvial models. The Atlas was just introduced for the 2018 model year, making this its third year on the market. It has been succeeded only by the VW Arteon, which was introduced the following year. Specs & Features of the 2020 VW Atlas

This year, the VW Atlas will be available in seven different trim levels, each with an increasing set of great features and technology from the base S trim up to the top-of-the-line SEL Premium. Included in those features are a few new things, such as the next-generation of the VW brand’s Car-Net telematics system and built-in Wi-Fi capability – all you have to do is subscribe to a data plan to utilize the latter!

Throughout the lineup of trim levels, more content has been added to each as well. For instance, the SE w/ Technology R-Line model now comes with front and rear Park Distance Control as well as the Easy Open liftgate as standard features, while all trims starting with the regular SE w/ Technology grade and above now feature standard 20” aluminum-alloy wheels. Those wheels increase in size to 21 inches for the SEL Premium trim.

When it comes to specifications, the Atlas has plenty to offer, but definitely shines in terms of space – as is important in any utility vehicle. The versatile cabin of the Atlas offers 20.6 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats alone, or 96.8 cu. ft. with the seats folded flat.
